My Story
I moved to Lake Texoma in early 2018, purchased my boat and started learning how to fish Lake Texoma. I talked to as many people as I could to learn as much as possible. My options were to live bait or trolling. I chose trolling because there are hundreds of live baiters on this lake and only a handful of trollers. Trolling is a great way to see the lake and to keep moving when it is hot and isn't much wind. It is more akin to deep sea fishing as we can have lines as far out as 275 feet. I am able to do some top water fishing and some slabbing if the conditions are favorable. I experiment all the time with different methods and different techniques to learn new things as the fishing changes throughout the year.
